Brendan McMullen was born in New York City, but moved to Los Angeles in his teens. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of California at Santa Cruz. While there he played Swiss Cheese in Mother Courage and Her Children, Hephaestus in an adaptation of Prometheus, and Pylades in The Libation Bearers. He currently plays roller derby with the New York Shock Exchange.
